CHANDRAMOHAN RAO, SINGER & MUSIC GURU

I have done Masters in Music from India's premier music institute, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya after training under gurus N.K.Karhade & S.B. Deshpande, disciples of Pt. Paluskar. Later I trained under Mohinderjit Singh, disciple of Husn Lal-Bhagat Ram duo. I am an Andhra Pradesh Sangeet Nataka Akademy awardee.

I was also music critic with leading dailies-Indian express and The Times of India for 25 years. With Rao Vocals, I hope to make Indian music accessible & truly global.

Sharing my Passion

I founded Rao Vocals in 2008 to pass on my passion for music. I teach students from across the world and run a popular YouTube channel. I also conduct workshops for music enthusiasts and have conducted advanced workshops in Washington, Chicago & St Louis in USA and in Singapore. I have also released music CDs in collaboration with students from Canada and Singapore.

Rao Vocals Classes

I offer private vocal lessons online, separated by skill level via Skype, Hangout, Zoom and other platforms. I have an experienced team of faculty that teach vocals and different musical instruments.
